Is There Life on Mars?

Question: They all see it. It comes and goes. Could it be that it’s alive?
Theme: From clues to hypotheses, the forensic investigation of Mars

In the South polar region of Mars, some dark stains emerge cyclically.
A team of Hungarian researchers analyses pictures of these “Dark Dune Spots” and compares them with similar geological or biological formations on Earth. The spots could be a form of life adapted to Mars’ extreme conditions, but how can one verify this hypothesis without being able to check on site?
You are invited to observe the researchers in their forensic quest for clues about life on Mars. What are they actually looking for? What is life?
