A Special Issue of
Courrier International about the (Free) Circulation
of Goods and People in Science
Question: What are the consequences of scientific globalisation?
Theme: The Nobel Prize winner is headhunted to England, the stem cells
come from Israel
Science is under the grip of globalisation. Politicians fear the brain
drain, stem cells are grown in Israel and shipped to Germany, patients
travel around the globe to receive medical treatment, whilst
laboratories employ scientists from all over the world.
In collaboration with the newspaper
Courrier International, a special
issue gathers articles from outlets all around the world that report
about global science traffic. It will be available at Vienna Airport in
Schwechat, and at all modules.
