Luncheonette for Advice and Other Experiments

Question: How do we know what we want to ingest?
Theme: My GP says carrots are healthy; my homeopath banned them.

Whether it’s about alcohol, celery or morphine, we are bombarded with precepts and tips. All kinds of experts give scientifically tested, but contradictory pieces of advice. In our own purpose-built luncheonette, you’ll find the diaries of several people giving a close look at their own consumption habits.
You’ll learn how pregnant women, athletes, diabetics, burger-eating teenagers, macrobiotic partygoers and your next-door neighbour eat, and how dealing with medicines and drugs can contrast with expert advice.
